Remainder of some new photos

Some new photos of Hedgeway Cottage Soaps

Thanks Bernadette, yes I'll need to work on those.

New jewelry art from Ree

As you know, my cousin Marie is very artistic. She has some wonderful jewelry that I just want to rip open the packages and try on. She has agreed to do a shabby-cottage line that I can't wait to see and I am going to make sure I get first pick. Here are some pics of her work. Love ya cuz.I took pics of more of her work but the flash whitened the picture out. The last picture is done on tile. She does carry a variety of art on tile too. Have  a happy and safe Memorial Day! Remember those who serve and have served  for our Country and stop and say a little prayer for them and  be thankful for the gift of freedom.

Farmers Market in Warren today.

What a turnout today at the Farmers Market.  Hedgeway Cottage Soaps looked awesome, the display was really impressive.  The soaps smelled so nice I (Maria) thought.  It was really nice seeing the both of you and getting a chance to experience each and everyone of the different soaps.  Very nice variety!!!

strawberry sugar scrub
I had said in a previous post on the Hedgeway Cottage site that I would give the recipe and pictures for the sugar scrubs. The recipe I came across was to use one part oils/butters, 2 parts cp soap, 3 parts sugar. I used 1/2 cup shea butter, 1/2 cup apricot kernel oil, 2 cups chopped unscented cp soap, and 3 cups of sugar. I have to tell you that it was not fun getting them to come out of the mold without crumbling. The mixture would hold together when squeezed in your hand, but would also easily fall apart. After they sit awhile, they're fine and they're pretty sturdy. Maybe if I had used different oils or butters, they might have had a more sturdy texture. I had previously made the strawberry ones. These pics are of the lime sugar scrubs. Next will be orange. I am going to package them as a mixture of summer fruit scrubs. They're going to look so good packaged!
